Russ wanted to build a platform where users can mutually benefit from liking Facebook fan pages. He wanted an interactive medium for the users, listing fan page data that inspire people to like them and also a real time analysis of their fans. The website needed an active interface, customized WordPress dashboard and most importantly Facebook integration with WordPress.
Firstly, to ease the login, registration and account settings we built customized WordPress dashboard. So users can change manage their settings without being taken to default WordPress pages. Secondly we built up reports about fan pages that are displayed in real time to users; statistics of likes, users’ fan pages, top users, pages’ like, etc.Facebook Graph API is used to maintain the real time data of fans. The fan pages are also listed directory wise. Thirdly, LikeExchange authenticates Facebook users as well as website users to exchange likes and thus helps them to maximize users fan list. We have developed a WordPress Facebook plugin to achieve this.
We have enabled the admin to send mails to all registered users. Our Ajax developers have used AJAX throughout, to interact dynamically to users’ clicks without reloading the pages. This sufficiently increased user interactivity and enabled rich experience.
